Greg Langton B.Com (acct) FIPA

greg@langton-accountants.com.au

I'm proud to say that Langton Accountants and I celebrate more than 30 years in practice.

My background in business, banking and finance exposed me to a huge variety of experiences, often involving accountants. Alarmingly it also revealed the all too common face of a tired accounting profession.

Having seen and heard what people were asking for and deserved, I've combined with a talented and enthusiastic team and literally made it my business.

Experiences as an accountant are very important. My continuing professional development and the practical knowledge of my past helps me to help you. I often say that if I haven't lent money to it, run it or become involved in it through taxation and accounting, it probably doesn't exist.

I am flattered that clients regularly tell me that I have a skill of unpacking the difficult and making it simple and understandable. A strong source of referrals from clients supports this. It also helps if you love what you do. Then throw in friendly service and I believe clients feel engaged and equipped to make better decisions.

Catherine Ashton   Adv Dip Acct

catherine@langton-accountants.com.au

Catherine may be newest member of Langton Accountants but by no means the "newby" to such a diversified field as an accounting practice.

Catherine came to us with experience as a Logistics Coordinator for an international communications and monitoring technologies company.  Keeping on top of the changing demand in trade and world shipping meant that her strong background in customer service, bookkeeping and procurement were valuable attributes to lean on.

In 2016, Catherine completed studies specifically in accounting and taxation.  Today she continues with her studies but at advanced levels.  It will be this educational attainment that will compliment the complex work she and all our staff are capable in undertaking on a daily basis.

In a mature accounting practice such as ours, it's these business, professional and life experiences that now makes her a very important member of our team.  For our clients, I am proud to say that she is ready for your calls.
